My cholesterol quite high

I was first tested for cholesterol 5 years ago and the total cholesterol was 232, then in May 2010 I got a full panel and the results were:

Total cholesterol - 200
HDL - 77
LDL - 105
Triglycerides - 89

[B]Last December:[/B]

Cholesterol - 221
HDL - 73
Triglycerides - 89

March this year it was:

Cholesterol - 209
HDL - 39
Triglycerides - 239

Im giving up smoking and am wondering if these levels could have caused any plaque buildup?

I'm 31 male, slim build but have a little pot belly from having low testosterone levels. The first cholesterol level 5 years ago was 232 and the recent values haven't looked bad because I had good HDL and Trig levels but on the last test my trigs were elevated.
