... tsp. of regular cinnamon, stuff right in your spice rack, about 6 months ago. Before the cinnamon and green tea, my TC was 232 and went to 198 and my LDL was 161 and went to 126. I have not been tested since, so really can't say if it was a fluke or not. ... (10 replies)

... JJ, I would imagine it was the green-tea that lowered your numbers - how many cups a day do you drink? I've been reading a lot of good things about it... Moxie, Have you done a search on your brand of blood-pressure-med to see if it is related to higher cholesterol? PS: Implementing 11i while doing a year-end-close is too much stress... ... Hi JJ, Don't forget that LDL is not measured directly, the lab uses a formula. Did your doctor check your homocysteine? Homocysteine indicates inflammation and is a more important factor than cholesterol. You normalized the most important 3 out of 5 numbers above and I think it's pretty impressive for just 3 months.
