... Shoeless, You had me look up Advicor...interesting: extended release Niacin + lovastatin from KOS Pharmaceuticals (makers of Niaspan.) Problem for you is that company's own testing which is apt to be somewhat overoptimistic shows an average increase of 20% in HDL levels with the 1000mg dose (with 20 mg statin) Add that to your 27 and you still get only a dreary 32.
