... All of the *problems* with Crestor in the studies were in the 40 and 80 (notably the 80) mg ranges....doses that will rarely, if ever, be prescribed due it's efficacy compared to other statins. Ninty percent of patients will only require a 10 mg dose and it is recommended (by the manufacturer) that 40 mg doses only be reserved for the most severe (high risk) cases. (27 replies)
