... The minimum therapeutic dose is 1500 mg, I thought? I have seen reports of flushing with as little as 50 mg. I would be hesitant to start taking large doses of niacin without letting your physician know, or without requesting a prescription. ... HubbleRules I take a good Multi, VC (1000mg) and Carlson's Fish Oil. I tried all the other stuff and it all didn't agree with me. I'm think I going to add the Waiora at dinner and see what happens. I work out 3x a week (30 min) cardo + a good diet. I would say a good proportion of the posters on this site are either (a) concerned about starting on statins, or (b) have actually suffered the side effects of statins and refuse to take them again...
