... Is your triglyceride level 135, based on VLDL * 5 where VLDL = TC - LDL - HDL = 27? That is near the high end of "normal" (150 or higher tends to cause more concern). Sugar intake tends to raise triglycerides more than other blood lipids. We suspect bad trig test strips as they expire in 3 months. 2. The manufacturer sent out 6 trig test strips so I can verify, plus they sent me the control test liquid to test the machine. ...
