Have you had a titer test done? To see what levels the EBV and/or CMV are?

Did the doctor put you on any antivirals???

You may want to read up on Dr. Martin Lerner. He is a specailist in CFS..he uses very high doses of anitvirals for treatment.

I have been on Valtrex and now on Valcyte.

If you have been feeling lousy for a while I would suggest getting a doctor that will treat you with antivirals and see if they help. It could take months to feel any better. It is worth a try.
