... I experience very similar vision problems. If I wake up naturally, and stay resting in bed until my morning "stupor" has lifted, my vision is usually properly corrected with my eyeglasses. If I wake up to an alarm, or get out of bed immediately after awakening naturally (while I'm still feeling drugged), my vision is blurry. Fortunately, the blurriness doesn't necessarily... EDIT: Anti-Social, it's remotely possible that your problem could be too much magnesium in your blood. That can be caused by over-absorption or kidney problems. ... Psychoscream, Your instincts are good. There is a protocol called salt/c in which they are used in combination (salt and vitamin C) up to 15, 16 grams each a day for Lymes and CFS which is now thought to be a symptom of Lymes. I am on it myself. If interested, I'm sure you could find info. as it is being used quit widely. (16 replies)

... Do you snore? If so, ask to have a sleep study to look for sleep apnea. It can happen in a person of any weight although it is more common with a person who is either heavy or has a large neck size. (16 replies)

You should first see your GP but dont be discouraged if they dont take you seriously...then you may need to see: a sleep specialist (you could have a sleep disorder), an immunologist, psychiatrist etc...important to have a full battery of blood tests. a big one: have you had your thyroid and iron levels tested? if not, just request that. also, are you on any prescription...
