... The only way you will know for sure what's going on is to have a colonoscopy. While your history shows it's probably your hemorrhoids and your sensitivity in that area, you should get the bleeding checked out once and for all. ... I agree with gocatsgo, please get colonoscopy. If I understand correctly, dark stools is a result of blood further up in you colon, and not the rectal area. A colonoscopy is the only sure way to determine the cause. ... (3 replies)
