... I have had 8 scopes done using fleet prep. There is only one rule , drink water until you are almost sick and bursting ,then drink some more. It is so important. 1 it protects your kidneys 2 it makes sure you are clear,,,the clearer you are the less chance of missing problems. Remember ,nobody has ever invented a pleasant medical test. I am a bit underweight and prone to dehydration and I blacked out on the commode after having horrible cramps and runs. ... (4 replies)

... Julia: I'm sure they must have taken some blood to run some labs... probably determined your electrolytes were off due to dehydration. I hope by now, you have completed your prep, and have had the colonoscopy. Please share with us the results, I'm praying everything worked out well. Best Wishes, CancerDad (4 replies)

... It is entirely possible. It sounds as though you MAY have not had a good experience with your colonoscopy the first time. My advise would be to find another GI for this one. Make sure that you are adequately medicated... ... (3 replies)
