... Trish, Please do what you have to do to get that colonoscopy. The 7-10 year comment from your IM doc is BS... Also, it sounds like you COULD have colitis or chron's. I was diagnosed w/chron's in 99 - I have passed over 10 kidney stones - that is considered a "side effect" of chron's. Google that and you will find lots of info about it...
