Took First Step!
Apr 9, 2004
After doing a lot of research, I decided to have primary rhinoplasty and a chin implant done by Dr. Constantinides in New York. I scheduled my consultation for August. I'm planning to have the actual surgery done in December.

I'm very nervous, but this has been something I've wanted to do since I was 13. I am in NO financial position to have this surgery, but just scheduling the appointment gives me motivation to work like crazy all summer. After e-mailing the Dr., it looks as though my surgery will cost $12,000! Ahhhh. I definately don't want to be cheap about picking a plastic surgeon, but this seems a little pricy! I definately DON'T want it to come out bad, but I'm wondering if I really need to be spending THIS amount of money. Anyone gone through the same thought process?

I'm keeping in mind that financially, where there's a will there's a way! Thanks!

just please make sure that u talk to patients of the doctor and see them in person and look at lots of photos and also dont hesitate to ask the doctor ANYTHING and make it VERY clear to them what u want and make sure they know what ur talking about dont be intimidated by them (Which can happen sometimes)
speaking from experience i had rhinoplsty last year in LA by a doctor who i THOUGHT would be perfect for me, i didnt rush into it i did my research but i dont feel that he grasped the full concept of what i wanted and now althought my nose isnt horrible, its still not good and im planning to have a revision within the next year. s
