Has anyone had fat lipo-ed from one part of their body and then injected into the deep lines of the face? I am thinking of how to get rid of the lines from my nose to the mouth without a full fledged lift. I've already read about thermo-cool. If you have had the injections, I would really appreciate you sharing your experience, feelings and opinions about this procedure. Thanks so much!
i'll bump your psot since i'd like to hear some experiences too. i've read a lot and it seems that the outcome is pretty variable and unpredictable. i'm still seriously considering it because i don't want cow collagen or dead people collagen injected into me and the newer fillers that i'm aware of don't have a long enough track record for my comfort level. the fat stays for a couple of years for a lot of people; while others lose it in 3 months. i figure i'll learn which category i fall under after my first attempt. my trepidation is choosing the right doctor. it's an art/science- you need your doctor to know exactly where to put the fat for best results (ie: location and how deep- basically finding where the fat was before it gave way to the folds.).

probably the best decider for me to have this done over other alternatives like a face life is that a young face is that way because of fat. young faces aren't stretched looking. i am looking to get my nasolabial folds done along with injections into my upper cheeks to repopulate my fat pads. like i said, the right doctor is the only delay (i have a friend who had a VERY bad experience with a lower eye bags surgery with a well known dr who does tons of interviews and articles for the media). if anyone has a great experience in this area- please tell. i'd travel for the right person. better yet, if you've had a great experience in costa rica (my fav place to vacation)- even better (it's so cheap down there and a VERY common cosmetic destination for dental and plastic surgery)!

thanks!

You said your fat lasted 2 years so far, that's great. Can I ask who did it, where on your face it was done, and how many sessions did you have to get the results you wanted? I had f/g done recently w/ Donofrio but still need a little more. I'm only 27 but my face thinned out in the last few months. How old are you BTW? Thanks for your help.
I had fat injections done to my entire face and it looks wonderful. I had much better results than I expected because I did get some lifting from the fat in the cheekbone area and sides of the face. It took 10 yrs off my face. It got rid of the wrinkles in my cheeks and under my eyes when I smile. I love it. I had it done more than 2 yrs ago and it still looks the same. My doctor used fresh fat at the first visit and then frozen fat after that.
