Re: PICC line verses mid-line

Not sure I know what a mid line is. I have had picc lines before and they have worked well for me (I've had 2 double lung tx's). One time though, they tried to get one in me and couldn't because I got all tense or something, so then they put me out for it and still couldn't get it in. My arm was all bruised very badly. So they tend to put me out to put them in. I have had home iv drugs millions of times. I now have a port but it doesn't work well. ~Katie~
