Frequent respiratory infections CAN be a sign, but it could also be that your child is just one of those kids that catches everything. People with CF can also have reflux. I know DS was on zantac as an infant.

Does your child taste "salty" when you kiss his forehead? Have they run throat/respiratory cultures on him when he's gotten pneumonia to determine what kind of bacteria he's growing. Another "red flag" would be if he's culturing something like Pseudomonas, which is typically a CF bug.
