... You didn't mention how old your son was. Mycoplasma pneumoniae is a common bacteria for any schoolaged children - that's probably kids around 7 or up. Did they do sensitivities on the bacteria? It sounds like it could be a resistant bug. Especially if he's been on the same antibiotic each time he's sick. You want to avoid antibiotics unless he has a fever because of the risk... (10 replies)
