... e back. Any infection remaining can cause havoc in your mouth, bones, throat etc. Although I took great care of my teeth while I had insurance this happened in a molar with rootcanal years ago. ... you need to take the meds as directed, and then follow up with your dentist to get the tooth fixed or pulled. if you want to save the tooth, you will probably need a root canal, i've had one myself and they really are not that bad, just really expensive! depending on where the tooth is( back molar, or a front tooth) they charge by the number of roots involved.. if there is... ... I agree with Ryu. I think you need to just get the tooth removed. Sometimes that is the only thing to help. If it is a back molar then it is no big deal, however if it is a front tooth they can make a tooth to put in there. ... (2 replies)

I got a root canal done from a reg dentist and one didn't work. after the new crown and all I ended up having it pulled. ALL that $ for nothing!
