I'M sorry you had such a bad time...The gas also has that effect on me and also makes me very dizzy even after its off, so I won't take it..In the future, if you have work done, you might want to try the IV sedation...It is really good, you are really relaxed, pretty much asleep, and you dont feel pain or anything..I actually just had it again today, as I needed some more work... ... I would suggest using a oral surgeon in case there is a complication of the tooth breaking off from the root when the tooth is extracted which would require surgery to remove the root. If your wisdom teeth are not infected you should be fine. You will or should be giving a choice of whether you wish to be awake or asleep during the procedure. I was awake for three... (2 replies)
