... Hi Laura, It all depends on how far the tooth is broken if its bellow gum line and if one of the fractures goes into a root then yes you are going to need to have it out and either a bridge or a denture to replace it if you can not afford an implant. (5 replies)

... If it's not hurting go to a local pharmacy and pick up a temporary filling kit. Brush your teeth and then blot the broken tooth with a paper towel to dry it off. Follow the instructions and apply the filling. That should take care of the problem until you see the dentist. ... (1 replies)
