... Hi there! Glad you're feeling better. Your thread caught my eye because that's exactly what I'm feeling. Bruised gum on the inside of the tooth (same tooth). Our problem sounds the same, but I did have a root canal (over 2 months ago) and it still is this way. I haven't gotten the crown on it yet, am going to try to hold out to see if this goes away.
