A good snack is hummus. It is high in protein and low in fat -- 2-3g protein per 2 tbsps.

For anyone who doesn't know, hummus is an Indian dish. It is made with ground chick peas and spices, and has a paste-like consistency. Traditionally, hummus is spread on pita bread.

Being a vegan, it's one the tastier foods that I regularly consume.
