For me, since I now run a lot I'm always hungry too. When I can't get enough, I use my Vitamix (a heavy duty food processor) to make a natural fruit drink. I can mix seeds and nuts in there too, and make something quite delicious.

So, with four or five pieces of fruit, I make two very large drinks. I usually have that liquid snack later in the day. I don't think drinking too much, would be a good idea in the early morning - although some people might recommend it. I'm a grazer too - eating continuously on no (processed) sugar snacks.

One of my recent snacks that I came up with, is sunflower seeds, raisins, pumpkin seeds, and peanuts. It's a great nutritious combination - which can be modified to taste. I found, although, it's important to eat these slowly so that they digest easily.

Oh, one other thought came to my mind. If I find I'm losing too much weight, the thing which will turn me around so that I start gaining weight is nuts. I'll get cashews, peanuts, almonds etc. and munch on those for a while. The calories on handfuls of those are quite enormous and satisfying.
