Bluedog..I remember you too. Still drinking kefir also, I love it, it's such a good replacement from other drinks.
I'd have to say that for my other favorite health foods, pretty much anything organic. I buy these raw living food bars..you can get them in omega 3's or spirulina which are grain/sugar-free. Nature's Best Greens by Dr. Ben Kim, it's an amazing drink that has almost every veggie/fruit in it. My diet consists of organic grass-fed (or omega 3) eggs, homemade veggie soup, wild salmon, homemade fruit smoothies (I love drinks as you can tell)..etc. I'm really particular on what I eat and I'd never dream of drinking anything artificial like diet sodas and crystal light or any of that. What's your diet like?
Bev, I like your diet. I'll have to check out those raw living food bars...as I could use more living food in my diet. I am with you on those organic, grass fed eggs - I typically eat 2 every other day. And wild salmon, wild is the only way to go! I tend to eat a lot of organic chicken. I make these really good wraps which I eat quite frequently. I use sprouted whole grain wraps, with garlic hummus, kale, brocolli, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, and organic chicken. Easy to make and tastes great, oh, and it's good for you. :)
I try eat mostly sprouted breads, bagels, and wraps. My daily routine involves drinking a glass of Kyo-Green, which has young barley, young wheat grass, brown rice, chorella, and kelp. I also, take 1 tablespoon of cod liver oil, 1-2 tablespoons of flax seed oil. I just added a couple of table spoons of apple cider vinegar to my diet.
I also tend to eat a lot of spelt pasta and kale, along with my organic chicken. I use extra virgin olive oil on almost everything. Another daily favorite is organic yogurt with walnuts.
For a snack, I like to eat a waffle with natural peanut butter, honey, and topped with shaved almonds.
And for good antioxidants, I drink acai mixed with my kefir. Acai is supposed to stronger in antioxidants over bluberries. I also drink 2 cups of green tea daily. We should start a thread on favorite health foods! :D

Wow..your diet sounds great!! It gives me even more good ideas. I forgot to mention that I also take flax seed oil as well as evening primrose oil and extra virgin olive & coconut oil (there's lots of books on how healthy it is.) And also I'm a green tea freak so I drink a lot of that daily too. Have you ever tried organic cacao nibs? It's a healthy chocolate packed with antioxidants. They say it even has more nutrition than veggies. You can find it online really easy. I also make hot chocolate out of that for a snack. Organic raw living vegetable crackers are good when you make your own dip as a snack too. I never knew that about Acai...I'll have to look into it! Oh and I almost forgot, my favorite, homemade icecream made with coconut milk & cream. You put half of each in a bowl and let it freeze just enough so it doesn't turn too hard. Then mix and add fruit or the cacao nibs to make chocolate, or vanilla or what ever you like. It tastes even better than normal, plus it's really good for you. I agree..starting our own thead would be awesome :)
