... You will likely find a lot of different opinions on this. I happen to believe that if one eats a healthy diet, very few vitamin supplements are needed, if any. For example, I take vitamin D3 and B12. D3 because a blood test indicated that I was in a low range. And B12 because I don't eat animal protein. That's it! Eat fresh fruit etc. for vitamin C. ... Hey anonymous - To gain weight healthily, don't depend on fast foods (I don't know if that was what gfd was implying to do or not). I'm currently working on gaining a few pounds myself and have found that eating 6 times a day versus 3 helps a lot - increase your caloric intake by about 500 calories a day for a total of at least 3500 calories more than you need per week...
