I have the same problem, if I get too hungry, I get bad stomach aches, and that pressure in my throat, so if I know I won't be able to get some food quickly, I'll take a Zantac 150mg to neutralize the acid that builds up when you're hungry with an empty stomach. The worst part was when they spray the nasty stuff in the back of your throat to numb your gag reflex....that made me gag horribly. ... or anything. Before you are completely passed out, the doc sprays this liquid at the back of your throat two separate times and it foams and tastes really really bad but what it does is it numbs your gag reflex so you don't gag when the tube is down. Plus you are out cold! ... (17 replies)
