And although I was told before hand that removing my gallbladder may NOT solve my issues I was ready at that point to try anything to relieve the pain and discomfort. ... Had my HIDA Scan yesterday. Wasn't too bad, a bit painful but for no reason apparently. Called for all my lab and test results today and everything came back normal. The only "slightly" elevated blood test was sed. and that was only a 20 and that's the last level to be at before it's considered elevated (as I was told by the nurse). So, I'm back at square one. ... You mentioned anxiety - alot of my diarreahea was caused by my anxiety - as soon as I started to relax some of my symptoms disappeared. You may have physical and anxiety combined which the physical is made worse by the anxiety. I am just saying you may have that. See the gastrologist and get all the necessary tests. ... If the ultrasound showed no stones but you still feel it might be your gallbladder, request a HIDA scan. That checks for how well the gb is functioning. Anything below 35% is considered non-functioning. (8 replies)
... Go to a gastrologist and have more test but please don't get scared - when you get scared it makes matters worse. Maybe it is IBS but get the test done - have you been through alot of stress lately? I mean you had your blood checked, urine, etc you will probably need an endoscopy done. (8 replies)
