... i keep a food journal. i'm not really sure how helpful it is for me, but it doesn't negatively affect me, so i just keep doing it. it's basically just a list of the times and what i ate all day. ... (5 replies)
... i've found doing a food journal particularly helpful in the process. don't think of it as an immaculate record, or something you have to do right to recover. that's the perfectionism beating you down. it's nothing but a tool, to be used in the moment, later if you so wish, but not necessarily. ... ... Food journals can be helpful. For me they end up being a trigger but that's because my ED really went down hill when I got obsessed with Weight Watchers. And in that program you're supposed to keep track of what you eat and calculate points, etc. ... (5 replies)

... I stopped eating processed foods, I make my own bread, I dont even leave the produce section of my grocery store. I feel 100x better. This is something you need to do for yourself you will thank yourself later. I cook all my own meals I don't even eat at restraunts. ... (13 replies)
