... Hello Maggie Thanks for replying ! The Shakes that I am talking about are Sports Protein Shakes, they have about 15g of Protein each. My family can't afford any Medical expenses and we don't have Insurance, so I am not seeing anyone regarding my Recovery I am doing it with they help of My Family & God, of course ! (15 replies)

... The problem is that I have no appetite for food whatsoever !!! I have seriously lost my appetite...Yesterday I had 3 Pria Bars and I was okay I didn't feel pressured like I do when I have to eat meals ! That's why I'm so into Protein Bars because I feel better eating intead of a meal that I don't even have the appetite for !!! (15 replies)
... I agree as well... I find that bars/shakes have a TON of unwanted stuff (fat, calories, sugar, chemicals, carbs, blah blah blah...) I think if you just try and prepare healthy meals you will be way better off and ahead of the game!!! Bars and shakes seem like an easy way to monitor your caloric or nutritional intake but they really are just candy bars w/ xtra vitamins. No... (15 replies)
... I couldn't agree more. I've been where you are, and I found that it didn't work for me (not to say it might not for you). Why protein bars? If you're like me, because you can control the amount of food you take in....and not gain weight. I found that I just started cutting down the amount of whatever supplement or healthfood thing I was convinced would do it this time... (15 replies)

Their bodies simply can't take any more, or they get infections they cannot throw off. I've known several who have died, sitting in wheelchairs, still refusing to eat or gain. ... I have two questions... i noticed when i eat sugars, my heart starts racing and i feel so strange, what damage is that doing when my blood sugar is being spiked? Second do women die because the food can not be digested or that the body just feels overwhelmed? Thanks for you info! (15 replies)
