... Grandmal seizures are nothing to mess with any way whether you are awake or sleeping, but some people just dont care and that is sad especially when your dealing with a child who has the symptoms of Epelispy (5 replies)

... i agree with you. hopefully they will find a ped. neuro. i know i was told that if they have more than one reaccuring siezure that it was a form of epilepsy. you would think that if h was having grand mal in his sleep that it would be diagnosed as epilepsy. who knows.....sometimes i think these dr. are goofy. hope they get the appt. and find somthign out. ... ... eks ago the Paeditrician and Neurologist examined him and think that he may have some sort of abnormality in the back of his brain and may be having some type of seizures causing visual and auditory hallucinations. He has had a CAT scan which was normal and has been referred for an EEG. He sees things that are not there. ... (16 replies)

Last night, I woke up about an hour and a half after I had fallen asleep because I heard a noise in my room like something heavy fell onto all the crap on my nightstand.
