... Hi Kayakmom, Thanks for the post. They haven't done a EEG yet, they have him scheduled to have one the 13th. of next month, but are trying to move it up. They put him on sezuire meds anyway b/c he keeps having them. I'm hoping this puts a stop to them. Thanks so much for the input. I think I'm going to look up sezuires and see what I can find out. ... Half Pint, Thank you for your response. I'm still on that last 200 mg at night and have been since August. The doc says that anytime I'm ready I can stop taking it. I'm starting school tomorrow though (going back for a second degree) so the doctor did tell me to wait until I've acclimated myself to the new schedule of attending school before stopping the meds because he... ... I can relate to your fear of getting off your medication. I had my first grand mal sezuire when I was 17. The doctor put me on phenobarbital which controlled my seizures until I had my second grand mal when I was 21 yrs old. ... (7 replies)
