Anyone have any exersice tips (that can be done at home) to slim down inner thighs thighs? I am a 19 y/o female, 5'3 and 114 lbs and currently jogging about 2 miles a day. Yet I would like to slim down my thighs to look more "proportioned ". My thighs only seem to have fat in the inner of my thighs...the outer part is fairly tight. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :) Thanx so much!

It has been said countless times on this board but the bad news is that there is no way to pick which part of your body gets slimmer, there is no such thing as spot reducing. When you lose weight (fat) it will come of from evrywhere on your body but usually the last place that will lose fat is the first place that gains fat (i.e., your "trouble spot). In other words, first in, last out.
However, if all the rest of you is not fat (and it looks like you are fairly lean) then perhaps what you think is inner thigh fat is simply muscle that needs to be toned. Try using the adductor (inner thigh muscle) machine at your gym or find other exercise that works your inner thigh and it may be all that you need to do to firm up that area.
On the other hand, if the flabbiness is indeed due to fat deposits then it may be impossible to get rid of it without getting your overall body fat percentage down to a dangerously low and unhealthy level.
If you are trying to slim down your thighs, I would continue to jog at least 30 minutes a day. A long w/ running, do squats or lungs (a few reps of 8-10 to start). If you decided to do squats, point your toes ******d, as if your legs are in a " V " shape, this will help train the inner area better. Remember, diet is everything, you don't want to be eating high fat foods or high carbs, b/c this may be the area where you're storing these types of foods. So, shoot for more protein, veggies, and fruits. Yes, some fat and carbs, but just be careful!
