I'm 24, about 5'6 and maybe a couple more cm's , about 180 pds and i jiggle more than jellow. My goal is to lose at least 20 pds and get toned up.(and hopefully lose a cup size in the process, im C very close to a D) My long term goal is 30-50 but im starting slow and realistic. I want to eat a stable, healthy diet and pretty much have that under control , but i need to incorporate an exercise/workout routine that incudes weight training. Heres my problem. Right now, i am not gaining or losing any weight bc i walk a good amount to get to my bustop to and from the college i go to, and i always bike or walk to most places. But its not enough to lose the weight and get tone. My questions are how long should i jog, is it ok to jog/walk in the beginning, should i start with 8 pds or 5 pds (5pds feel way too light after a couple reps, but 8pds feel like they are too heavy and my arms get sore.... im also a bulk fearer too so i want to make sure im lifting teh right amount and doing teh right set of reps:P) And i think thats all i really need to know bc im pretty sure i have the meal deal down. Any help would be much appreciated! Oh, and i cant join a gym so everything has ot be at home or outside.

CARDIO is great for overall weight loss. Try jogging 30 minutes in the morning and thirty in the evening. Summer is right around the corner so there is gonna be tons of outdoor activities that are great for over all weight loss. Swimming, biking, hiking, playing sports, etc. As for weights I would do the eight pounds. If you cant do tons of reps dont worry about it. For over all toning try a good video. They have ones for every area of the body you want to tone. sit ups and push ups are always good too. Keep up with Cardio because you will get great results.
I would definitely find a replacement for the Cheerios bar. That is all high GI carbs - sugar. Some carbs there is ok since you just worked out, but that's a lot, especially since you don't eat again till 3. Might look into the new Balance bars. They are *mighty* tasty and have a fair amount of protein and some carbs. Or maybe some sugarfree (sweeten with fruit? vanilla?) low fat yogurt.

Looks like you're getting in plenty of protein so that is definitely good. And 4 c. of green tea is about what I drink a day. Lower in caffeine than black tea or coffee and is purported to fight cancer, so drink up! :) But don't forget plain old water; 1-3 litres a day! It will keep you hydrated and satiated. Really does make a difference.

About snacking... the biggest thing is to identify how many calories you need per day. Then divide those calories into each meal. If you want to snack, just allocate calories from somewhere else and go for it. Don't deprive yourself, just plan well. :) I eat 6x a day, so I am a fan of allowing for snacks just as long as they stay within the calorie restrictions. Looks pretty good! keep it up.

PS. I have no idea what "2 x G&T's with slimline tonic" is..
