Look, people (including me) for years have been incorrectly treating abs different then the other muscles in their body. The fact is abs are just like every other muscle. They respond and grow when you train them with weight, feed them properly, and let them rest. When I was in the Marine Corp I weighed 150 pounds and would do hundreds of crunches a day and I never had a six pack. I am now nearly 40 pounds heavier and can see every muscle in my stomach. Train your abs once a week. I suggest doing cable crunches and weighted leg lifts with heavy enough weight to hit between 8-12 reps. If you can do 12 add weight. Do two sets for each exercise and train them suckers to absolute failure. INTENSITY+WEIGHT=OVERLOAD. Overload=muscle growth. And as always if your body fat levels are not low enough no amount of ab development will give you a six-pack.
