I think that whatever you are doing is much better than not doing it. Yes, a more organized routine would be nice and you would see better results. My suggestion is to drop all the weight MACHINES and rely on your own machine--your body. I think if you switched to free weights and did more compound exercises (ones that work many muscle groups at once)you would see very good results. I suggest squats (first learn the proper form without adding any extra weight) and just do them with a barbell. Continue until these get relatively easy and then add weights to the barbell. 3 sets of 8-10 would be good. Also, stepups, stiff-legged deadlifts, lunges (without, then with dumbbells)are great lower body exercises. I have to say that I am very partial to squats because I have achieved incredible results doing them whereas I worked my tail off on all the machines at my gym and did not even approach the results I got from doing squats (with a barbell-weights). I was warned not to do squats, that they would make be bulky, big, etc. but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, my thighs are very slim and firm now, no flab whatsoever, and (this was a surprise to me) my inner thighs became firm as well--no jiggles. I credit it all to squats. They are awesome.
Do weights ever other day, cardio (interval training) on days off from weights. These are my suggestions. I am sure there are many other ways to achieve results and you will probably hear from others who will suggest them. Pick whatever appeals to you but do the routine consistently.
