Stiff or straight legged deadlifts will excercise your lower back, glutes and hams.

And btw. people who tell you that you shoudn't do squats are wrong. If you are a woman (lucky guess ;) ), you probably don't have enought testosterone to build big muscles. But if you have, it won't happen in a day, it takes months or years for women to build noticeably big muscles. You can stop doing that excercise if you [b]really[/b] see (oh mi gawd!) big legs forming (which I doubt).

Squats are great excercise that will boost your metabolic levels and HGH release. It means that even if your quads grow a little bit, you have easier time to keep fat off your thighs. IMHO fat makes womens thighs look bigger, not muscle.
