I exercise at least 4 times a week for 45 minutes on the elipitical machines and also do light weights. Then I walk for at least 2 miles about 2.5 hours later to help boost my workout. I get a good workout and feel good. But when I climb the stairs to my apartment I can hardly catch my breath. There are 22 steps. I don't understand this. I am early 40s, weigh 206 lbs. and have an apple shaped body. I have been doing my exercise routine for about a month and a half and I do notice my body firming up. So what's up with not being able to climb stairs.
