You can't "be sure" that the calories burned during cardio after weight training are all from fat stores, but weight training does use a lot of carbs, so it's a pretty safe bet that blood sugar is low after training. ... ... It is generally suggested that doing a three day "split" for lifting is best. Do this for a hour to 90 minutes each session. Cardio After you lift is best....use it as a "cooldown" for 20 minutes or so. Or you can do 30 to 45 minutes of cardio on days not lifting. ... (1 replies)
