... Ive been trying to find some way to get bigger but latley ive not been growing at all. I think im overtraing the tri's. The web doesnt give me anything to use to suggest that the tris could be overtrained other than saying there easy to overtrain over and over again. There is a simple answer to this...swap the exercises around! ;) There are obviously a million different ways of designing a workout, but at the moment I'm doing 3 days in the gym using the following routine: Monday: Push Tuesday: Pull Thursday: Legs (If I had the spare time, I'd probably do a fourth day but that's another story...) ... thanks for your reply. I don't think I am overtraining. I am spending about an hour a day on average at the gym. Every second day I am working on my biceps, chest, and legs, other days I'm dong my shoulders, arms, triceps, and I try to fit in a set of situps between the more straining exercises so I have a short rest time. I also do a couple of sets of back extensions... (6 replies)

... I have been at this for a bit over two years. for the first year I did an upper body routine on day, then lower the next, rested a day then did it over again. This worked fine for awhile, but then I began overtraining. To get past this, I have not started sometyhing ike this: Monday Back and Biceps Tuesday Cardio Wednesday Chest and Triceps (6 replies)
... Glad to hear you're cleaning up! Congratulations and good luck with everything. Some things I see with your current program - 6 days a week of lifting is too much for a hard-gainer. By lifting this much, you are burning a lot of calories that would be better put toward muscle building. Ideally, you would switch to only about 4 workouts every 10 days. This gives your...
