... Probably not much anyone can tell me without seeing my shoes and my form and stuff, but any advice would be really appreciated. I've been running 6 days a week for about two months, and in the last week or so, I have found that the front of my ankles right where it curves into foot territory (I'm pretty sure that's the technical term ;)) have been sort of tight and achy... ... Chondroitin. Since I've been taking it, my soreness hasn't been as bad. Also, you may be suffering from tendinitis, so definitely ice the areas of discomfort about twice a day. I try to run on the treadmill more than outside, because it is better for the joints. ... (2 replies)

... Generally when you start running for the first time, it will make you sore as your body isn't used to the exertion and to the impact forces. It'll eventually adapt though, so you shouldn't get as sore after. ... (7 replies)
... If you can try to avoid taking Ibprophen and all that stuff because it actually takes blood away from the muscles, thus easing the pain, and blood is the bodies natural healer. But if you have tendonides, I recommend taking two alieve before working out. ... (2 replies)

... Well, in marathon training we were doing interval training each week, and this was killer on me! but i made GREAT improvement from it. Working on speed, you NEED recovery ... i didn't get any! lol Right into cross training. ... (8 replies)
... I don't know about you guys, but I used to always get shin splints! I'd get sharp pains in my calves and they really hurt and would make me very sore the next day. Eventually it stopped... my shoes were comfortable and were Nikes and worked well for me. ... (6 replies)
... as there were MAJOR hills! Which is what caused me to get injured. I had to use the bathroom at that point and when i stepped out i almost fell! My ankle was so sore and my adrinline was down from the almost 3 min i lost in there! Yeah ... it SUCKED! ... (6 replies)
