... Probably not much anyone can tell me without seeing my shoes and my form and stuff, but any advice would be really appreciated. I've been running 6 days a week for about two months, and in the last week or so, I have found that the front of my ankles right where it curves into foot territory (I'm pretty sure that's the technical term ;)) have been sort of tight and achy... ... Generally when you start running for the first time, it will make you sore as your body isn't used to the exertion and to the impact forces. It'll eventually adapt though, so you shouldn't get as sore after. ... (7 replies)
... Here is a simple rule to remember, heat before and ice after. But if the pain is coming from your knees and ankles def sounds like tendonides. If you can try running on some soft grass at a park or something, this will give you more cushion than a treadmill. Also try barefoot on some grass this helps too. ... (2 replies)

... What you're describing sounds like "shin splints" which is kind of a misnomer, because it is basically just very sore muscles around the shin. If you are new to running, this is quite common. You need to take it slowly and build some endurance. ... (2 replies)

... I don't know about you guys, but I used to always get shin splints! I'd get sharp pains in my calves and they really hurt and would make me very sore the next day. Eventually it stopped... my shoes were comfortable and were Nikes and worked well for me. ... (6 replies)
