If you're trying to lose fat, doing your cardio before breakfast is helpful because it's forcing your body to tap into bodyfat for fuel instead of using any food eaten during the day. So some of this will depend on your goals. It might also be that you did not eat *after* your workout (or if you did, you dod not mention it), which depletes glycogen... (6 replies)

... Wokrout whenever it is best for you. If you're not a morning person and can't get up an extra hour earlier to hit the gym before work, then maybe you should go after work.
