My symptoms started just over 2 weeks ago, with problems with my left eye only - grittyness, mild burning under upper eyelid, profuse watering, not really any discharge to speak of although I have had a very small amount of white discharge but it really is very very small and only seen it twice. Also, upper lid was itchy (not the skin surface, mor inside or under the lid),... (9 replies)
... I couldn't use the cortisone cream because i was advised against it, for using topical retinoids i would damage the the skin. Not a big deal since i doubt it'd do anything when i was told by a dermatologist that i might need a frontal sinus surgery and a CAT scan (21 replies)

... I'm not sure what this is, it's larger than the typical bag-under-eye from sleep deprivation. It doesn't hurt or anything. My left eye is particularly itchy, and I do agitate it r frequently after showers. I've scheduled an appointment to get it checked out in a week, but I'd really like to get a earlier opinion. Thank you. (0 replies)
... Hmmm. I'm JUST guessing but since nobody answered thought it was better than nothing. It could be you sleep with your eyes slightly open and that area gets dried out. You could try taping your lids shut and using an ointment (refresh lacrilube, genteal gel, both OTC) at night and see if that helps. If that doesn't help, google "recurrent corneal erosions" and see if the... (1 replies)
... Hi Kellie! Glad to hear you went to the allergist today. I also saw an allergist about 2 weeks ago, where I learned I was allergic to housedust, and molds, plus horses (which I ride daily), ragweed, trees, dustmites. Bummer.
