Bunion surgery

First I'll start that I was hit by a car in '00 and through out the years I've had a lot of surgery done to get back to walking as close to normal as possible. Shriner's put pins in my 4 toes because they'd bend in the way and because of that the big toe would bend under other toes. I just got a bunion surgery done, to prevent it from doing that. Now my problem is that it doesn't bend underneath anymore, but the muscles still get very tight. I also didn't know until my foot doctor called me earlier that a pin in my toe is broke, because of that what can the doctor do now?
