... But in the case of a severed nerve, I'd think you just won't have feeling in that pinky toe anymore. In the big picture, that's probably pretty minor. Just have to keep an eye on that pinky toe if you don't have sensation. You wouldn't know if you hurt it, cut it, etc. ... (31 replies)

... r awhile, it got a little better. He said it was important to break up the scar tissue. He would rub some kind of ointment on the toe and would make me push my big toe against his thumb and then he would switch his thumb in front of my toe and have me push up against his thumb while he was pushing the other way. ... ... Best of luck on your upcoming surgery :angel: . My fusion was MTP (the big joint of the big toe) with a bone graft from my hip 7/05. This was my 3rd surgery on my toe (Keller bunionectomy, for arthritis, then implant). I was totally non weight bearing for 5 weeks and used an exogen bone stimulator on my foot and on the graft site of my hip. The fusion is solid. I do still... (13 replies)
