... Have you seen your doctor or PT yet? Just curious as to what they've said. I'm 6.5 weeks post-op bunion/hammertoe surgery and have been doing the big toe exercises for a week. I was told not to be afraid to force the toe to the maximum range of motion. It hurts! But I was told that if it doesn't hurt then I'm not pushing far enough. ... Hi Jenny, I had the same thing but it started sooner for me, about the third week. It was a reaction to the desolving stitches inside my foot. My body started fighting them to push them out which causes the festering that starts with a pus/pimple . I was told to soak my foot in (as hot a tub of water) as I could stand for three minutes,,,,,,then stick your foot in cold... (1 replies)
