Working in the medical field for well over 35 years-I can tell you that nursing has many different areas-Not all are direct patient care-A lot of the RN positions are desk jobs now days-That said, you also have to know how to do everything-otherwise you can't supervise-If you don't know how to properly do something you won't know if those you supervise are doing it correctly....
