Hi,
I have suffered terrible sinus allergies in the past year, which came out of nowhere. It started with a stuffy feeling in my ears, where it mildly affected my hearing. Then, I ended up with a pulsating sound in my ears every night (only at night). Long story short, I ended up treating this as an allergy... where I got an air purifier, and avoided certain allergens and the "tinnitus" disappeared. But still remains is a terrible sensitivity to loud sounds and cold weather. My ears feel full, when my allergies are bad, or when the weather changes... and when I am exposed to loud noises, there is a lot of uncomfortable pressure in my ears. It's made me avoid going out at night, so much. Anyone experience this. What is causing this?

Thank you for your feedback, suggestions, comments. Greatly appreciated.

I've been having this problem for the last year and a half. I don't know what causes or how to treat it either. :( If anyone has any advice, that would be great. :)

Thanks for sharing... do you have allergies? I found I have sinus allergies, where I get sinus inflammation when exposed to certain allergens. It all ties together. I've always noticed my ears feeling painful, when taking off on an airplane or in cold weather, for years... but this other stuff is only in the past year. Yes, if there is anyone who has an answer, please give us some advice. Thanks,
