I work with 2 ENT's and I wanted to let you know that, yes, I have seen a patient with sudden sensorineural hearing loss regain almost all of his hearing after steroid therapy. ... al people who had had the same thing...more common than you think. These tumors are usually benign and it's amazing how fast he recovered from the surgery. His hearing loss is permanent but something he can deal with. The surgery was just 3 months ago and now you wouldn't know anything had ever been wrong. ... (23 replies)
