... Mandy, Sorry to hear about your palpitations. I know how you feel because I experience them myself. My first suggestion would be to stay away from heavy or fatty foods. Try to eat lighter and a little bit at a time. I found that more frequent smaller meals have helped reduce my palpitations. As for exericise, keep doing it but nothing too strenuous because... ... Alison, I do not think it is anxiety. That's just a very simple way out for your doctors, who mostly have no idea of what it could be. Medicine is just not ready for the evaluation of the kind of disease you are describing. I am male, 38, slim build. Very similar (if not identical) symptoms started 4 years ago also on me.
