Hi and welcome,

I have been on treatment since the end of February of this year. This is the regiment I try to follow, it works for me, but everyone lives their lives differently. I do drink plenty of water. At first, I found it hard to drink lots of water, I wasn't much of a water drinker. It helped alot by putting some juice in it for more flavor. Now I am on the straight water. My sides have been quite minimal. My biggest problem is with my white blood cell count. I get a few muscle aches, nothing to keep my down though. I take ibupropen for the headaches, I am allergic to tylenol. I also watch what I eat. Lots of fresh fruits, vegetables. I eat chicken or pork every 3 days. No red meat for me. It is one of the hardest foods for your liver to digest. Eat when you take your medications, which helps the meds work better. I have read that black tea, which you can get decaffinated, really helps with our immune system and interferon. They say 5 cups daily, but haven't worked up to that. I walk about a two miles every day. I found that the first couple of weeks it was hard to give myself a shot. Now it is just part of the routine. I have minimal liver damage, and that may be why I don't have many sides. I am not going to question it, just thankful that it isn't knocking me on my behind. There are lots of wonderful information here on this board. Everyone is very good about sharing their experiences. Keep the faith.
